Located in the El Sereno section of Los Angeles, Station 47 serves one of the oldest neighborhood's in the city, dating back to 1769.

Working in 24-hour shifts, Station 47 is not only a workplace but the members' second home. Everyday household items like washers, dryers, ice machines, refrigerators, etc., are used around the clock. When one of these items breaks due to heavy usage, a replacement is not covered by the city's budget.
